View Full Version : Forms
Well, it's a thorny subject, but how about a tutorial for making Flash5 based forms, for the web (i.e. not standalone!) that can be tabbed through in a logical order without selecting buttons, tabbing to the address bar etc, just tabbing through the text fields?
I'm getting massively confused (And hassled!) by this one!
If I figure it out first, I'll sort out a tutorial or FLA and post it for you.
Thanks

A tutorial on setFocus is on my list already :) My computer's still being fixed though. I'll get it back tomorrow at the latest hopefully.
Remember that you may have to click once on your flash movie before using the TAB button. If you don't do this the TAB will move through external elements like links and browser menu bars.
Cheers
Jesse
Thanks Jesse.
As you can probably see from my testbed, I've given up with the tabbing idea (Which was the most instinctive) and gone for an arrow key driven version. It works, even if I do not like it. (It was the frames that caused the most confusion, but the tabbing was inconsistent. Frames were necessary because of using FormMail.pl!)
If you wish to see the arrow variant, go to

Me? I'm off for a beer!
