hello frnds,
I have found a new video blogging site like youtube. What it is using is DiVX rather than the Flash.
visit Stage6.com (http://www.stage6.com)
First of all Download Divx Web Player (http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-2797924-10391337)
The qulity of video is awsome.Especially when it is in fullscreen ..

I'm not really into downloading additional plugins.
That's one of the key features with flash, people already have it.
I doubt the divx player will work on my linux ;)

true but at least on the latest kubuntu with FireFox most sites work well enough to be usable. That's alot better then not working at all ;)
I think there's only Flash player 7 so far for Linux, Adobe is supposed working on FP8, or maybe even directly a FP9 for Linux.
as far as i see on the adobe homepage, there is a fp9 for linux (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&P2_Platform=Linux) ;)
but i must confess, you shocked me, thehardship... i thought i had misread something - that would've been a catastrophy for me
FP9 for Linux, Posted date december 2007, I wasn't that far...
thats just the latest version, i just read fp9 for linux was released in the middle of january 2007 ;)
Wow, they got the FP9 even before Flash CS3 was out! Lucky Linux guys...

ummm... no.
I don't generally quote myself, but in this case I will.
I purchased DivX Pro 6.8 yesterday and, after installation, took a look at Stage6.com. Stage6 is definately on my bookmark/favorites list now. Great site. Great quality vids. No, it's not flash, but it is a 'cool site'.
Thanks harilalkm for mentioning.
