Flash Chat new message notification blink

Hi guys,

Is it possible to make flash chat for FMS 2 blink when a new message arrives? Our flash chat is based on part of a sample app that you can download from Adobe here

Any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
