Does anyone have a good hosting company that they would recommend?
Here is the deal. I did a search for cheap a@# hosting and found this place, penhost.com...$3.95 a month for 100MB, PHP, 10 pop accounts, ect. Sound to good to be true? It was. They have been down for 5 days now. Not even there site is running. I am guessing their small European country was conquered or something and the villages burned down along with the servers, ha ha.
I just need a cheap (10.00 or less) a month hosting wth 50 MB of space, 4 pop accounts, and PHP support. I have three different sites I need to get up.
Anyone?
I would give you the links to my sites but they are down, ha ha.

I've been with only2dollars (http://idlecast.com/ic/icgo.php?t=only2dollars.com&u=29381101&ref=tableau.com.au) for a while and have been very satisfied.
Better yet - if you click on that link and sign up I make a dollar ;)
cheers

I use OLM.net and have been pretty happy. Best of all they have really good customer service. I've always been able to get them on the phone 24/7.

Both services sound good, but only2dollars.com is cheaper and I am a cheap bast@#$ when it comes to my own little website so it has a slight lead. But olm.net has phone support! That is nice!
I am so cheap that I even downloaded MacHTTP and installed it on this ancient Mac I have here collecting dust. Works great as a simiple little server except there is no PHP, much less Flash support! O well...
Thanks Billy and Vile! Anyone else got a great, cheap hosting company for s&g's?

I am looking for cheap service at the moment. One site is my personal resume site, I do not have a job right now so I have NO money for a big hosting company. The second site that needs to be hosted is a small design collaborative startup> Again no cash. only2dollars.com might be the way to go plus billy T got a dolaar for it, ha ha.
Everyone remember PENHOST.COM is evil. They sign you up then disappear with your website, e-mail, and money.

WebScorpion.com (http://www.webscorpion.com/) has webhosting from $5/month for 100 MB disk space, 2 GB bandwidth, all the usual stuff, CGI, PHP etc..
Reseller accounts from $34/month for 2 GB disk, 40 GB bandwidth.
You might have heard of us before - we host and manage the server that powers this forum :)

Where were you guys the other day? Ha ha.
I went with Billy T's place, www.only2dollars.com, because I had to get my site and e-mail back up for my job search. I need a job so I couldn't wait.
They look like great places. hmmm for $10 a month let me decide between using 2 domians on the same account or 450 MB of space! Holy crap those are both awesome deals. PHP and all. O well...
I bookmarked them both. I am sure I will have something at one of them in the near future. Thanks a lot guys!
