PHP is great for anything server side. Combined with mySQL you can do great little database applications, and with just PHP you can add nifty features like contact forms and more powerful tools too. I don't think your likely to find ahost that suits all those criteria though. Sorry.

I've taken a look at many, and none of them offer you much at all for free.
For example, DotEasy will let you have PHP & CGI support, but for a whopping sum of $20/mo bought quarterly. $20/mo at my host will get you much more than that.
I think this all boils down to you get what you pay for, and if you don't pay for anything, you're not getting much in return.
There are several hosting services which will give you a great deal for a year's worth of service prepaid.
I recently built a site for a friend, going so far as to help him shop for a hosting service. With a year's hosting prepaid, they threw in domain registration and setup, so he paid all of $94 bucks upfront for one year, and is only looking at $12 for domain renewal next year. We worked it out based on other services we checked, and the closest in price with comparable features was $148/yr more, based on paying set up, domain reg and the monthly charge.
E-mail me if you'd like the name of this place.

because i am just a highschool student and cannot spend much time on making a site, I am not planning to spend money on my website > I am sooooo busy this year I don't even have time to do much else either than study!
Right now i have a free host which has no ads but doesn't seem to support php or any other server sided scripts. But since it is free, i don't mind...

It sounds like you're doing okay.
The other alternative is find someone you know who's host does provide php and cgi, and borrow a directory to run your scripts in. That would be a cheap alternative to allow you to see if you even want to bother learning how code php or cgi.

I use www.spaceports.com - the only totally free php/mysql host I could find. No adds neither (on the pages on your cgi host - the ones on the 'flat' space they give you have a footer ad).

its only 5 mb transfer per month, so the site is probably going to be unavailable lots of times... but thats fine I will try it, thanks!
