Frustrated, please help

Ok I recently switched to a new computer. Now when I port my old fla files to this new computer I'm getting the following 2 errors.

#1) I can't load XML files with actionscript - the same exact FLA is not loading my XML file

#2) File size is HUGE - the same exact FLA is giving me a huge file size (used to be 167 kb, now its 2 MB)

Could it be the settings of the program on my new computer? I can't figure this out at all.

I am using Flash 8.

There are two possible causes:

1- You are using a different version of Flash. Did you create those FLA in another version? Try to open the fla file in the version that it was created and see if the same happens..

2- You may need to update your operative system (Windows update)...

Try these 2 tips, update your operative system, if it doesn't work, try open the file in the flash version that was created.
