program to make text effects

greetings everyone..
ive been wondering if anyone knows any program to make nice text effects..
i used to have one that when you finished your text animation, it exported it to swf.. but i forgot what was the name of that program..
so..
i does someone knows any nice program to make text effects? it doesnt matter if its not free..
