addVariable/SetVariable

Hi,

I'm new to this stuff! Been up all night reading whatever I can about Javascript interaction w/ Flash. :eek:

Here's what I hope to accomplish:

1. use javascript to communicate w/ my flash file called - "mp3player.swf".
2. use a colorpicker to change these MC's in my "mp3player.swf": "color1.mc", "color2.mc", "color3.mc".
3. add patterns over the player using some sort of onclick fucntion: "stars.swf", "hearts.swf", "notes.swf".

4. Finally generate the embed code for the player.

Is this at all possible, or is it beyond the scope of this forum?
