I'm an artist. I made my own flash site.
Its abstract and visually interesting (I hope) and hopefully somewhat user-friendly
I'd love any and all feedback
please send feedback to

The artistry is very nice, and I agree that the music in the background does accent the feel of the piece and the animation style very well. In fact I would go so far as to say it is a necessity as the animation sequences are entirely too slow paced to work without the music setting the mood.
As a user however, I'm not at all fond of explorative style user interfaces like this one. Any time your navigation is so obscure that it literally requires instructions on how to use, it has become the opposite of user-friendly. For example, there is no real reason to pause the presentation before showing the menu for the sole reason of making the user click to put the devices in place to advance the movie. I think that if I were trying to figure out who you were and what your site were about, I would have given up by that point. When I clicked on your portfolio, and was instructed to turn off the light switch, I was then confronted with nothing else that was obviously clickable. I only found that the stars were "hot spots" by accident, and even then clicking on it didn't give me what I expected.
Having said all that, I really like your eye for motion. I also have a feeling that this animation is heavily tween-based, which represents a remarkable amount of effort. It would be nice if the interface complimented these positive traits rather than standing in the way of them.

Hi
I think the page is really nice. but the animations are too slow.
I am not too keen on the fact that there are popup boxes to view things. But other than that I think its cool

The navigation was difficult for me - I'm not overly fond of new things popping open so I'm left with a series of windows all over the place. I only like them to pop open new windows if I'm going to a completely different site.
Loved the visual effects... some are a tad long. It wasn't too overly friendly though. When I first opened the 'ocre' button, it opened in a small window that couldn't be resized. The right side menu with the pointer, I could only begin seeing it at 2 - I tried resizing to see if there was a 1, but no such luck.
Visually, the site was gorgeous! If it hadn't been for all the new windows popping up, I would have spent much more time exploring it!
