Buttons In Dreamweaver

Hi, I just started building a site in dreamweaver using layers (hide &show ect) and lots of swf inserted.
And now, I have millions of doubts...Please, I made a row of buttons in flash, inserted the buttons movie (with all the buttons) in the html page. Is it possible to communicate the buttons with actions in html (dreamweaver) (like hide a layer for eg)? Im attaching the buttons movie. please? the thing is that each button, besides showing other content (hiding a layer and showing another) also triggers animations on another swf movie inserted in the same page. ..super confused now

Flash can do some basic HTML stuff, but to go farther you need to work with javascript.

is there a way to change just the content of a table like as if it was a frame? please?
