database on CD

hey we have a customer inquiring about a database on CD - sort of like a phonebook with search possibilities.

how would one do this? with Director, Flash and XML files?

or would u need to write something in C++?

I am currently trialing Flsah Studio Pro - a third party app for creating swf2exe files htat will access a MS Access database.

So far seem to do the job. I'll know more in a week or so when I get the real dataset from the client and start using it for real.
