I have a project being built in Flash 8, in which I would like to include a dressing up game which will result in the dressed character being animated in the clothing selected. The clothing selection will consist of 4 headgear, 4 tops, 4 pants/trousers and 4 pairs of footwear. If possible the clothing should be placed on the character by dragging and dropping.
Any ideas will be great, but please try to keep it simple!
Thanks in anticipation.

is the moving character user controlled? Or is it a character thats just...moving? If it's character controlled, set up the clothes as you have the character set up...have a frame thats static, then one moving...if the walk and jump, make the clothes resemble that, then when the user moves the character and their animation plays, play the clothes animation at the same time.

Thank you, Scarce.
The idea is to have a static figure and when all the selected items are in place, the user presses an 'accept' button and the animation for that 'dressed' character is played. The problem I have is workiing out how to program so that the correct movie is played for the choices made.
