importing movie files

Is there a way of importing .mov files, I have tried going to file and import, but this won't work

has some videos for movies in flash... but it is only for flash MX

Nothing appears about quicktime, but I have managed to import a movie now but when I view it in the browser nothing appears

to view quicktimes that you have imported into flash 5 you have to export your flash movie as a quicktime movie
