keyboard won't work

I think it happens every once and a while for no reason (when I'm surfing), maybe it happens when there is a pop up of flash mixed with the javascript?

It would happen and I will have to close out my browser to get the keyboard to respond again. Now that I've done a project and it happened again.

Is there anything I can do about this, it annoying to users to have close the browser, and I don't want to be the cause of it.

Tara, your query isn't an actionscript question, is it? Or are you writing a flash program that you think is causing this behavior? If so, you have to provide a lot more detail to get people in this forum to respond. (Get the page up on the web somewhere and provide a url so people could reproduce or verify the issue would help)

If it's more of a system software/browser plugin/computer model issue, you should search the web for the issue - surely other people have had the same problem.

I must have thought this could be resolved with actionscript and this would be the correct place to post this question. Should I post it in another section of the forum?

Tara, but without more information, how can we tell if it has anything to do with actionscript or not?

I have not heard of a way to 'disable' the keyboard in the web app in general... Well... Somebody might have, but it probably means virus than an application to me...
If you can pinpoint this to the specific site or specific circumstance, it might be helpful to figure out what's going on...
