Quick XML Question

How do I POST XML to a server from a stand alone player. send and sendAndLoad don't work. I hear that you can't unless its in a webbrowser. If anyone could either tell me a work around or just tell me straight up its impossible from a stand alone player that would be great. Please and Thanks.

if your viewing an swf inside a stand alone player i think you run into security issues .. but if you publish your fla as a projector it will work i think..
