Help with Sound Component

Hi there. I need some help regarding a program I’m writing in flash. In the program, a mp3 must by played so the user can hear the lesson by speech. Now what I did was I used the media controller. Right, now it is set to play an mp3 but in flash I have full control of the mp3. In other words I can move the timeline to any were I want but the thing is, when I export the file, the swf doesn’t allow me to move the mp3.s time line. I can use stop and play and volume but I can’t use fast forward or rewind or the time line.

Is there something I must change to the component to allow me to manipulate the timeline? Or does it have something to do with the flash player. O, by the way, I’m using flash player 7 and working in flash MX 2004.
