how can I create a smoke/cloud effect like the one on my pet skeleton (http://www.mypetskeleton.com)?

tried to follow this (http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=810&highlight=smoke), but it just took up to much resourches on my computer..


what am I doing wrong? :confused:

I think duplicale MC with some animations and alphas will do the job

yep, been there..

didn't really find what I was looking for but I ended up doing this (http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/phixion/phax/smoke.htm)

something like that text to smoke thing.. frame by frame in photoshop. easy enough but doesn't exactly do the file size any good...

so i'm still open to any suggestions on how to create realistic smoke in flash!

if you want to know how they did it then ask them - most people are really helpful if you have a valid interest and aren't gonna rip them off, suck up a bit with some compliments and fancy words and just ask - it's what i do and people are normally really great.
