Here is a stupid question. Is the only way to create a database and populate it with test data in an AIR application is to code it with actionscript in a startup command? Can't you create a database using something outside of actionscript (DB ADMIN) so you don't have to recreate the database (or check if it exists) every time you start up the AIR application?

Another Question:
In anybody's opinion, should I even be using the sqlite database, or is Flex/AIR better with xml as a datasource? I was going to use the database because I thought it would be easier to generate data for charts and graphs using sql than it would to use xml. I know that Flex has good support for the xml dom, but I still thought sql would be more flexible. Does anybody have an opinion on that?
