load movie - jpegs - slow to start

I thought that the load movie - a dynamic load, was really quick.
this swf is only 6k, but it takes a long time to start showing the pictures, as if it is loading them all before starting, which is exactly what I had hoped to avoid by using MX

I'm attatching the FLA, but not the pix.

I'm on 56k dial up

My ISP is earthlink

Note that u may need a preloader for the loaded movies/jpegs

My further question would be...

When doing a peloader, using frames loaded/total frames, does it "know" when pictures are loaded ? I thought I was only loading the frames that held nothing but actionscript and an empty movie clip, which would dynamically pull the jpegs in.

yeh, it should know that as long as u r loading it to a holder mc
