Hello, I really have no clue where to place this sorry :o :( but I was wondering where are there any guides to actionscript 2.0 and guides on using flash 8. The reason I ask this, is because I have never use it before but yet I am suppose to work with someone on a flash project on a game with them and I have no clue what I am doing.
Also any guides to creating xml files? Cuz those are like document files right? where you write stuff? anyways yeah i need help... sorry again

I would start with the Help drop down built right into flash 8. I just started using Flash and that really helped a great deal.:)

Hey,
When you are new to Flash, it helps to make a lot of "mini" sites... In example: make a site with 2 buttons, which both change text in a textarea... Or make a visual site with no code etc.
When you've made a number of these things, you can start making a "normal" site or program. Just add the stuff you've learned together and 99% of the time, things will work out.
Another great way to learn Flash is to "screw up" the examples you have on your harddrive (Tutorials of Adobe). Just open them, save in another name and start playing arround.
And last but not least, when you are playing arround and you find stuff you don't understand (after trial and error ofc) post it here in the right topic and i'm sure lot's of folks will help.
Enjoy Flash, it's a great way to make rich applications or rich websites.
Cheers,
