Greetings all,

I need an advice in selecting the right course to lift up my career prospects in IT again.

Here is my situation, I am a computer science graduate with a good programming background, so
far I worked only for six months contract period in an E-commerce company in Australia as a
web developer. I finished my contract just when IT started going down so I haven't been able to find
an IT job in almost a year now so I started my own business on the internet as a Freelancer hoping
by developing a few applications this will boast my career me in IT again but this only helped me to
improve my technical skills nothing more.

Now I have decided to spend something like $2000 or probably more to do a course that would probably
take a week or two I don't know.

The sad thing is that I believe I have the ability to teach myself what I will be paying for but having
said that I still need to do the course so I can put it on my resume that's one of the main reasons.

my programming background involves C++, ASP,SQL, HTML, DHTML, Flash Action scripting, etc...

Selecting the right course: ASP / ASP.NET , Flash Action scripting with OO techniques:-
==============================================

* I am not a Flash designer but I would like to know if there is a Flash course out there that can help
me to use my programming skills to become a Flash Developer using actionscripting especially now MX is
out with the new OOP Action scripting techniques and ofcourse maybe integrating other languages with Flash
such as ASP, PERL, XML, etc...?

* As with ASP, I still have intermediate programming skills and I am very intersted in the new ASP.NET
and just wondering if someone could tell me what is a good ASP/ASP.NET Course out there?

* What should I look into before selecting the right course, I want to make sure it will really help me, after
all its all about getting back into IT?

please note that I live in Australia and want to know about courses that are currently available in Australia.

thanks in advance,

WAEL.
