HI Folks!
This is a kind of an interesting one! I am building a rollup footer that will be an interactive swf that appears over a bunch of web sites that I have designed and programmed. I decided to use an iframe to drag the site in underneath the footer.
It works beautifully (now that I have done it all in css and removed any tables!) but the flash doesn't seem to work in Firefox! The positioning etc is perfect but the functionality has disappeared! D'oh!
Also, if the site that appears in the iframe is flash and uses the swfObject, it tends to load over the Flash roll up in the footer. This appears to be because the content takes longer to load than the footer (at present!).
Is there any way that I can guarantee that the footer rollup is always at the front? I assume that this would be an onLoad issue and there would be a Javascript way around this?
I have attached my wireframe working model and it is online at www.flashdesigns.com.au/dev - please excuse the dodgy buttons and functionality of the swf!
This one has had me scratching my head all afternoon! Thanks heaps for any responses and ideas! Ya'll rock!
Cheers Andy
