Please bear with me on this one. I'm new...
I need the equivalent of the "Var" box on the Properties tab of a Dynamic Text text box. Though available in ActionScript 2.0 documents, it is grayed out in ActionScript 3.0. In ActionScript 2.0 I use the "Var" box to dynamically populate text in SWF files that are unique to each visitor on my websites.
I wouldn't even have this problem if TXeff was "compatible" with ActionScript 2.0. In order to use TXeff for my purposes, I need to be able to define the equivalent of the "Var" box in ActionScript 3.0, and I don't know how to define the ActionScript 3.0 code itself in order to achieve my goal.
I don't have code to share, so please accept my apologies for that, as I know having code available greatly assists the resolution to questions.
TIA, and if I need to provide some clarification (if the above makes NO sense) then please let me know, and I'll try to provide it.
