Hi.
I'm working on a stand-alone presentation in Flash MX on Macintosh, for presentation on a CD via Flash 6 projector. Everything is fine, except I can make one function ONLY work on a PC:
fscommand("exec", "Disk First Aid");
Does Mac support the fscommand/exec functionality? It sure doesn't seem like it. I even created a movie with only one button and that command, so see how it went.
I am referencing an .exe file for the PC version, but I referenced a Mac file for the mac test. I tried in both OSX and OS9
I am also aware that the application you are calling needs to be in the "fscommand" folder off the root of the projector's folder -- and that you do not call the pathname when using the "fscommand/exec" in MX.
I am at my wit's end. If I just KNEW the function didn't work...
(P.S. -- I tried an alternative, getURL and it called the PDF, but it also opened a web browser window, even when I specified "_top". Since I'm not running in a browser, this sucks.
Thanks in advance!
