Hi,

I have just finished my portfolio website:
check it out http:www.raster.ca

The flash site uses a bunch of nice little tools; box2d engine for the menus, senocular classes for the site borders, tweener for all the animation, and a little bit of grant skinner's framescripts. Starting out I didn't know AS3, but I figured it out and did the flash site over the last month. HTML site was made using wordpress, took a couple days.

I'm an systems design engineer at the university of waterloo (canada) now, just finishing up a work term at autodesk as a software developer. See, at uw, we do 4 months of school and then 4 months of work for 5 years.

I'm now looking for a 4 month job placement starting in august.

I would totally appreciate it if you guys could let me know what you think of the site. The main problems I had when fixing bugs were with the menus when you click like mad, and with the HTML site in IE.

cheers everybody!

Hey Zach loads fairly quick and smooth the only thing i can really say is that font you are using for the about section is really hard to read as body text. For the titles and headers i guess it's fine but you sacrifice readability for style when it comes to using it in you body.

Cool loading scene btw. Good job

thanks,
it seems pretty unanimous about that font. pretty much everybody hates it. :)

So i changed it. Check it out now, hopefully it's a little better.

What do you guys think of the actual design though. Some people have been telling me that it's quite bland because of the black and white-ness of it all. I was hoping that it would make the color in the actual work show a bit more. I don't know if that came through or not.
