help with .swc import??

hi I have never imported a .swc file in flash help it says to put the .swc in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\en\Configuration\Components folder and restart flash and I should see the new components in my components panel but I do not, I also tried putting the .swc inside its own folder or inside a default components folder but non work.

I notice that some components only show up in certain version (ie: AS2.0, AS3.0, AIR) Is there somewhere that I need to specify which to include my .swc in?

I am trying to import the shu.swc from the shu air extender.


is there something I am missing?

so has anyone else imported a .swc in flash cs3? was there something differently that you did or did you do the same thing and it worked for you?

If the SWC contains only classes, and not actual visual components that will appear in the Components panel, it cannot be used with Flash CS3.

Thank you very much, I contacted the authors to the swc and they sent me a new one for flash cs3, it works now!
