View Full Version : dragging objects and eventdispatcher

I am having a strange problem that I can't find any information on. I have a canvas object. When I click on the canvas object, it makes a duplicate of on the main application. I then drag the duplicate by the top left corner. The main application has an event listener for MouseEvent.MOUSE_MOVE and MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP. When I let go of the mouse, I have a custom dispatcher extending event dispatcher that dispatches an event.

Everything works fine if I keep everything inside the application. Once I move the mouse to the point that the right side of my draggable canvas goes off the stage, my custom dispatcher will not dispatch. Both mouse events continue to work. Remember I haven't taken my mouse off the stage. I only had part of my draggable object go off the stage.

Has anybody had this problem before? Or does anybody know how to fix this problem?
