next and back commands?

hey,

I'm really a newbie to flash but have some experience in photoshop, I'm trying to make a random facts flash file that can display random history trivia eg: "first man on the moon..." and with the ability to scroll back and forth with some back and next arrow images, how would I get about doing this? and would I have to make new layers to insert each text fact? links to any tutorials would be much appreciated,
