View Full Version : Dynamic scene width and height

I'd like to know, if it's possible to change the width and height, of the Flash scene, during the execution.

I'm making a desktop application using flash, and i need to modify these value as needed.

For example : i draw a rectangle with 400x50 px.
and i want to rotate it 90 degrees inorder to obtain a 50x400 px rectangle.
My scene, at the beginning is 400x50.

So, can i do this without a 400x400 basic scene ?

Don't have to but it does seem to be the easiest (what else is going in that 350px anyway). Otherwise SWFObject and/or some javascript can resize the flash object dynamically.

Ok, thank you,

But, have you got any example? to illustrate this.

I've been searching for a while, and i just can find out how to do this.

You can use Zinc (http://www.multidmedia.com/software/zinc/) to build Projector
onFormResize (http://www.multidmedia.com/support/livedocs/index.php?url=main.php?action=events%C2%ACclass=Ap plication%C2%ACid=180)
