Has anyone had this happen/ can anyone confirm this:
I have an AS2 SWF. On the stage is an FLV component (with content path set to a local file). When the SWF is tested everything works as expected. When the AS2 swf is loaded into an AS3 swf. The video will not play.
After having played around with the variables (autoplaying, aspect ratio, etc.) I finally stumbled across this interesting tidbit. If I set the skin in the FLV component to "none", the FLV in the AS2 swf worked fine when played in the AS3 swf. Putting the skin back on makes it not work.
So, has anyone else run into this? Can you make an FLVcomponent on the stage of an AS2 swf play with a skin in an AS3 swf?
Just wondering if this is a bug with my installation or something else.
