Hmm, the other day my friend said it was possible to edit SWF files with MX. Is that true? I have not found a way to do it, but if there is, could you please tell me?

I don't know exactly what you want but the most you can do is import an swf and edited but it will only work prperly on simple, non-scripted animations. Basically it has the same capabilities Flash 5 has.

hmm, I just wanted to know because my friend was able to edit my swfs while they were on my server ( he changed the settings like fps, but nothing graphical).

the only way to edit swf´s is to use the actionscript viewer(i hate this f***ing stuff).
to protect your swf´s type the following line into one of your frames:

void(a)<=b>"c"||0(!1 && !0);

yip, it does...

it creates an error when someone trys to open it with the viewer...

let other people know how to protect their files.

Isn't there a way to protect your files when your publishing them? Like under the publish settings?

there is a way, but it´s not very save...
let me take it to the point:

in case of the ACTIONSCRIPT VIEWER, there is NO OTHER WAY to protect your files.

this does not mean that there are not other progs around to crack your files, so keep an eye on that and let others know what you find out...
