Accessing remoting from a local swf

Is there something I can add, much like a crossdomain.xml that will allow me to access information on a live db from a locally running file?.

I am using amfphp on the server to send the data to flash, but i don't want to have to upload my swfs after every edit while I am developing on it.

Mhh i dont know exactly what you mean !!

In the ide it works anyways you only have to set the gateway to your liveserver and
you are done .
