I was wondering: are the winning entries of the last contest somewhere where I can see them? Both the open source and the tutorial? Just trying to know if it's out of my league, of if I can give it a shot :D.

give it a shot... look in the movie section... pixelwit won with the page/turn thingy... also don't remember if jesse listed the stuff on the forum or on the news page... hunt about a bit.

Done! But I've not specified anywhere that it was for the contest. Is it normal? Or am I just a dumbass?

Not the Kirupa contest, no and functions libraries would not have been accepted there, I can assure you :D

Hmm... My fla is in the movie section, yet I haven't received anything from anyone telling me that it was submitted to the contest. Should I freak out now?

OK by way of quick answers to questions:
- All open source submitted since the competition began are being considered as entries. You needn't do anything special when submitting. (Go my PHP movies admin system!)

- We'd prefer entries to be on a NON-collaborative basis. If you wish to collaborate, please be aware we can't send half a book to each of you. :)

- Function libraries are welcome but they should be submitted in the form of a tutorial which explains how they work or an open source which shows examples of them in action. Please don't submit them to the Library, we're not coverring that.

- FLAs don't go into the open source automatically, they have to be approved by an administrator (Go my PHP movies admin system!)

- I'm very busy yes. If you ever need to point something out to me though, email is the best bet, not PM.
