Passing Peramiters

Making a dynamic button to place in dreamweaver it will load the name of the button in a text feald and then when you click on it it will have a check mark to show that that is the button that you are useing and then when you click on a differnt button the check mark will go away and apear on the button that you just selected.

I am trying to get preameter to work true will be checked and false will be not be checked.

i deas or help would make me most gratfull.
