Hi Everyone,

I am new to Adobe AIR, I am starting to build 1 AIR application. My application has 1 function: Execute a local executable program such as Notepad.exe, MsPaint.exe, or any *.exe program.

My question is:

1. Can AIR support my function?

2. If AIR support, How do I know when the Application finished runing?

Thanks,

Hi Kukoc,

I am the developer of airAveer, and just wanted to mention that we are almost ready to release version 2.0 which will have quite a bit of new features, including external application launching (and many many more interesting features). We are trying to iron out a few bugs, and a public release will be available very soon.

I won't comment on which product is better, but both Shu and airAveer have free demo's and I would suggest testing them out side by side (speed and end file size are some good things to look at ;)) - and if you do decide to take airAveer out of demo mode - use coupon code "ACTIONSCRIPT.ORG" during checkout for $50 off...

Thanks,
