I have been stuck on this problem for a while and I can't figure out what the problem is.
I have added Flash videos on a website using the FLVPlayback component in Flash CS3. The flash components play perfect in every Firefox, and Safari browser I can find, but whenever I try playing the videos in Internet Explorer on a PC, the videos aren't smooth and is very jerky.
Here is a link the video clips for the website:
http://www.rihanna-online.net/videos.html
The flash are simply based on the FLVPlayback component in Flash CS3. It's currently pointing to my Flash Streaming Server and uses the RTMPE protocol (Behavior was the same with RTMP protocol too).
I posted this in the Adobe forums, and the only suggestion I got was that it was a buffering issue. However, I can't agree with this because if I pause the video and wait for a little bit, it will cache more of the video, then if I play, it still plays just as poor.
Also, the videos play flawlessly in Firefox and other web browsers.
Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to make the Flash Videos play correctly in Internet Explorer? Is there something I need to do within the Flash file to improve performance?
Thanks and take care!
Alan
