Loading multiple MCs into the same place

Just imagine you have a typical web site interface: you have an index zone and a contents zone. Every time you choose an option in the index zone, a new MC content is loaded in the contents zone ("over" the previous content, in a higher level). What I want o know is if this process slows or not the loading of the MCs, because the different MCs go "adding" one after the other.

Do you figure out how I could optimize this scheme?

I don't think it'll slow done the actual loading, but if there's a lot of processor heavy content on the stage(like different layers of alpha blending, animations etc.) then the processor load will increase.
