Hi Users....

I created come STATIC text and made it a simple graphic in my library for simple animation purposes. That works fine.

However, I am attempting to work with the LoadVariables feature so that the STATIC text, can be updated by a user without the FLASH application.

I know that in order to do this, I have to change the STATIC text field to DYNAMIC.

However, when I do this, the new DYNAMIC text loses it's characteristics. Basically, selecting DYNAMIC from the " floating PROPERTIES window drop down option", it puts the text in a white box with a black outline.

Where/how can I change this back? I don't want a background or a border. I just want the text as it was when it was STATIC.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance....

In Flash Five - in the same floating window on the text options tab the is a checkbox - Border/BG, click on that. In MX there is a button on the text options panel just on the left of the "vars" text box.
