I had an e-mail w/ the subject "New Site" or was it??
"New Flash Site"
*forgot what the sender's name was* ....but I recall it started w/ an "s"
*sigh* .... not mux help
anyways.... when I open it there was nothing in it.
Luckily for virus scanners!!
this e-mail message originally contained the following virus:
CVDL W32/Klez-G
Why people spend their time makin' viruses........don't see the point.........!!!!!
The people that gets hurt are people like me :(
Anyways.....thought everyone should be aware of it.

..... o..... you know what was funny......
when I open up the e-mail, there was no link or anything in it.
it was just empty.
And I actually reply back to person asking for the link.
*hehe*
that is when the virus detector pop up.
Hey, my antivirus made a joke a week ago. What it says is "Impossible to repair or recover" or something like that (I mean, what are they good for, if they can never recover?). But as I said, Norton was only joking. That good'ol Norton :D

yeah I got the klez worm tonight too.
......I don't think it can affect internet explorer 6, but pcCillin (virus checker) popped up a warning. I too thought it was triggered by a .exe file, yet no attachment on my email - and I didn't even preview/open it.
Is that the worm that tries to disable your firewall and/or virus checker?
boyzdynasty, do a google search for 'symantec' and 'klez', then use their tool to do a scan - just incase :)

heheh - useful Norton AV!
I could never work out if the 'note' in this pic was meant to be a sly joke, or whether they just forgot to put the word 'data' after the word 'cd' !
What do you think?

"to physically erase data" - well that leaves you with a blank CD and no data on it
"to physically erase a cd" would wipe the entire CD from existance. There would be no CD left! ;)
