i agree.

I'm beginning to use linux now.... only because it is easier to manage a web server and db server.

any ways, isn't Linux better suited for just plain server use? I'm not sure if it was really made for that. Just thinking, I'm not sure, I don't have it on me now.

since that is what I am only using it for. *actually...will be using...*

But it would be nice to have the whole package!!!!!! :D

lol, it would be cool if you could run mac programs on a linux os. Then you could run your Macromedia stuffs.

no thanks, bananas are my fruit of choice.

Although a bitch to get software for and not very compatible with just about anything (although chocolate works well) they're very similar to apples in many respects - they come in nice sexy outer casings, do not support that bloke Bill's Evil Geek Empire and never give you a blue screen of death.

not really, you can get all the software you need (flash, mozilla, iTunes and champ manager) and OS X.2 is perfectly compatible with windows.

no, M$ have quite a lot of non-voting shares, without apple they've got a 99.9% desktop monopoly rather than 95 so they'd get broken up if apple went out of business.

Um, actually I think Sy meant that bananas are a bitch to get software for and not very compatible. I mean, have you ever tried to put a banana in your floppy drive, or connected one to your usb hub? Only the last three points were similarities. Compare and contrast in one sentence, cunning huh? ;)
