learn flex from basic

HI experts,

I'm a newbie to flex, and I have working in actionscript2.0 last 1.5 yrs. its all games based works,

Now i want move to become a great flex developer,

I dont have any knowledge in Data driven applications,

Now where from I start, Any basic knowledge required (like ASP, PHP)?

I didn't get basic tutorials for flex from web,

Please dears, kindly give me the links for flex tutorials, and guide me as a teacher.

Adobe LiveDocs is the best place to get started. Just open the link and read through various article. It may not have information about Backend integration, but that is something you should worry when you are done with Flex on FE.

Peter deHaan has a great site over at http://blog.flexexamples.com. You'll find a lot of working tutorials with View Source enabled and well-commented code. It's a nice resource and a great place to go to learn something new.

Foundation Flex for Developers: Data-Driven Applications with PHP, ASP.NET, ColdFusion, and LCDS is a really good book for learning how to do alot of different things with flex. I am a newbie with Flex as well, and to try and get a job I was asked to develop an application with it and I have almost solely used this book to figure out how to do it. You can get it at Amazon.com or other book stores or sites.
