Hi

I'm looking for advice on how to, when a button is clicked, open the default mail manager (Outlook or the like) from a stand-alone projector and send an e-mail to a specific adress. And if it's posible to have a custom header for the message ("Dear Sir Patroclo, Piedra de Elfo: ", for example )

Well, that's it

Greetings

Sir Patroclo

If you are working with Flash 5 you can use Flash Command Line Tools ( http://flashtools.net/ )...

I remember seeing a very interesting thread about this on Standalone & Applications Board at Flash Kit some time ago. Searched for it but I get "The Flash Kit community boards are currently down for scheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience." messagge the whole day. I'll check again when they are finished.

Hope this helps...

Thanks Didi, in those threads I found out about a external thingie called LPFlash Ex, wich opens Outlook and so. The bad thing is that it changes the caption in the title bar of your projector for the name of the program. So now I'm looking for another program to customize the caption back to my title... AAAAAAHHHHH!! Why is everything so dificult with flash? Why can't Macromedia embed all the things that third party programs do in one program???
But thank you very much, Didi, you helped me a lot

Cheers

I guess all comercial 3rd party tools have some kind of those...

I came up with these threads at FlashKit. Second one is for ftoolapp - Flash Command Line Tools which is FREE and won't change the caption, BUT works only with Flash 5...
