ok.. quick question on which way i should go on this project...
Building pages for a medium group of people that need to update their pics/web.gif's and their fav mp3's to their server thru the main.swf in an "Update Bio" section.
What works now is a script with just the texts then that emails me with their new changes, but they have to re_email me the pics and tunes.
Then i have to redo their .fla's and publish that to server.
so.. id rather automate that process.
Guess I'll have to rescript the main .swf so it reads an external file that loads independently for each member button a web user hits...
so the question.. which way would be better?
-shall i go into xml.sockets method...?
-use access DB and perl?
-build a client/server program in Visual Basic using its ftp ocx, haveing each member download the clientware?
what would you all do..?

gonna go the PHP and Mysql route. .thanks for lookin anyway..hahaha
