View Full Version : No Audio Volume in SWF2Video

I just downloaded the trial version of SWF2Video Pro. I'll be converitng a lot of flash files in the future and would love to buy this program...but.....
I can't export the audio from the flash file. In my settings, when I go to create AVI, the volume slider is turned all the way down and will not move.
Seems there is a no-brainer answer that i'm missing. The audio is set to record from the flash file, NOT from a separate wav. The audio Codec is set to PCM (my only choice).
Is this something to do with the source flash file? I tried to different files from two different sources and got the same results.
Help.

I'm just using the ever-present stickfighting Flash file (fight.swf) to test with. I've checked and unchecked every option on the mixer. There isn't one for "wave form" but I was still able to record the audio from fight.swf using sound recorder.
Any suggestions?
I also am curious if SWF2Video will record interactive flash files. Stuff like "click here", "start over", where I'd actually click on it while recording. Or can it only record the SWF file as it is in the Timeline in flash?

SWF2Video supports interactive flash files conversion.
But if the flash file contain interaction, it may not synchronized precisely in the result video.
SWF2Video records audio in phase one. And it convert flash to video and add audio track together in phase 2. If the flash file includes interaction, you will need to precisely response to the interaction in each of the 2 phases so as to synchronize the audio and video of the converted result. If not, you need to manually adjust the result by using video editing software.
Regard to your audio recording problem:
Since you can record audio of flash player by window system recorder, that means your audio card does support multi-duplex waveform recording.
In this case, SWF2Video should work too. As we don't have the alike problem reported yet, please kindly provide more info about your system configuration and testing processes. Or email us the swf file
Best regards.

I really appreciate your help on this stuff.
Although I am still unable to move the slider for audio volume, i AM recording it. which is good. Having trouble syncing it up with interactive flash files, but I guess thats something I need to work on.
My next problem is that only parts of my flash file are coming up in the SWF2Video program. Certain text and images are just not there, and thus are not recorded. I tried to email you guys the flash file but the function doexn't work when I click on "email" beneath your post.
the Flash file i'm having trouble with can be found here:

It doesn't have sound, so don't rack yourself with that one. =)really

Hi
Good to know you can record audio now!
There is another minor bug cause the audio volume slider doesn't work. We will try to fix this in next release.
We found that your swf file contains some relative path to the movie clips including the animations and text. When downloading the main file to local disk for conversion, these movie clips cannot be successfully loaded by the relative path. That why they are skipped during conversion.
You may solve this by either modify the relative path to absolute path from the fla, or download the whole sub directory including all movie clips together.

yeah, i've heard a lot of this problem, & guess that it's not your fault, but the fault of the program, i mean swf2video. so, i think you'll have to try other ones. for example, i like very much & use often this converter:
Flash To Video Encoder 2.0
http://www.geovid.com/download/flash_to_video_encoder.exe
& i didn't notice any errores while working with it. & here you can read more about it:
