Pre-Loading Questions

Well...Genericallly speaking it's a very simple question..
How do i make a pre-loading bar
and do i need to make a gif/jpg for the bar of the pre-loader?Thnx.

Also note that the file you referenced seems to say page Loading forever, and if you're making an SWF for a footer, remmeber that it must be below 15kB pls.

The SWF File is 324 K, i used sound on it. It says load forever...because if you're on a slow connection, it'll seem like it ;)

I'm on 512kB cable so it should have come down in about 3 seconds....

It works now.. I reckon you could make the file a fair bit smaller than 300Kb based on the content it has though... have you maximized that graphic and tweaked your sound?

You see..i'm pretty dumb...and i don't really know how to do that stuf...do you have a tutorial for it? Or could i send you the SWF and you could tweak with it? I'm a really big idiot ;)

Don't send it to me. I assume that logo is imported from a graphic program. Try using that same graphics program, or a free one like Irfan View ( http://netspace.tucows.com/adnload/693_54331.html ) to decrease the number of colors in your graphic. Ideally you could use Paint Shop Pro if you own it and run the image optimizer...
