I've developed an iTunes Cover Flow-type of navigation (I know, not the most original idea, but hey, the client loves it):

It functions the way I want it to, but I'd like to know if there is any programmatic means of transforming a straight-on image so that it can mimic simple perspective (perhaps using matrices?) Currently I fake the animation of the angled version of the image animating into the straight-on version of the image by creating a series of graduated/tweened images in Photoshop and importing them into Flash. While this works, it obviously isn't very dynamic, but is extremely time-consuming.
Any ideas regarding a programmatic solution? Thanks!
