Flash Games Developer (AS3, CS3) - Woking - Surrey, only 25 mins from Waterloo station. I have a AMAZING role creating on and offline games for one of the UKs leading employers. Due to the substantial growth in online offers; my clients Group’s IT Development Department currently has an excellent opportunity for a Flash Programmer to create online and offline Flash games.
Key duties include:
Programming new games and applications in Actionscript 3 (AS3) for a variety of systems
Working with graphical artists, animators and sound producers
Supporting and maintaining existing Actionscript 2 (AS2)games
Liaising with QA team in testing of games
Supporting and building upon an existing Gaming Platform using Actionscript 3 (AS3)
Bringing new ideas and technologies to the existing team.
THE CANDIDATE:
As the ideal applicant, you will:
Have exceptional coding knowledge of Actionscript 3 and 2 (AS3 and 2) plus Adobe Flash CS3 skills.
Have an excellent understanding of Object Orientated Programming
Be highly motivated and a quick learner
Knowledge of Touchscreen development, XML Sockets, Adobe AIR and Flex would be advantageous
A degree in Computer Science is desirable
Experience within the online gaming industry would be an advantage
