alright, i know everyone's probably asked this conversion problem to death (but i couldn't find a direct answer on a cursory glance thru the history) but please bear with me.

my situation is that i am working on a flash movie which involves a fair bit of detail (eg: computer screenshots, as well as video), and the people whom im helping to make this video... have now told me that they will want it to be uploaded on youtube later.

what is the best way and best settings to use while moving my swf to youtube?

1. what program can i use on both windows and mac to export swf to avi? i tried to use swf2avi on a windows computer but kept getting errors. ive even resorted to editing my flash so that everything is on the main timeline so if i have to i can export it from flash directly....

2. what settings should i use when exporting to avi? should i export it in 320x240? what sort of video compression should i use and stuff like that, for youtube?

last of all its a basic little question about making a smooth zoom:

i have one transition where a screenshot of a web browser is being zoomed in on. its got lots of chunky, non-anti-aliased fonts. when i tween it to zoom in, the non-anti-aliased fonts look terrible and cut up. what is the reason for this, and how can i make it zoom in smooothly? help!

cheers and thanks for reading!
