Hello,
I am not looking for critics with design but more with loading and streaming ability.
We have created a streaming piece for a 4.5 minute long, 1.15 MB teaser for a product. It is at 24 frames per second. It has a 25% preloader I believe build into it now for 56k users but will have a 10% preloader for high bandwidth people later.
The top two links "low" and "high" bandwidth have sounds set to "event" so they didn't play correctly on some machines. Only try those links if the "streaming link" doesnt work good.
What I am most concerned about is this piece is:
A: playing at full speed or close to
B: how bad drop frames are to keep up wtih audio on slower computers
C: loading time for 56K users.
D: any hangups while downloading.
SO Please click on the "streaming version" link and give feedback as to how it played, if there are any hangups, weird things happening, how fast it downloaded etc.
If there are suggestions for making it play faster by all means let me know.
