I am doing a simple portfolio viewer. The images "slide in" and upon clicking a button, "slide out" to the next slide. I have two buttons: BACK and NEXT. I am using FRAME LABELS. All I need is to be able to control the BACK button to go to a specific FRAME LABEL. I can't use the "go back x# of frames" because the slide in and out's are different for each "scene". I am building this on one long timeline on 9 layers (I know - exactly what you AREN'T supposed to do)
For example, the BACK button on frame 451 needs to go back to frame label "Scene1" and the BACK button on frame 472 needs to go back to frame label "Scene2" and so on.
I can't seem to be able to control the back button but for the first instance on frame 451. There are 24 "scenes" in this. I only need to go back ONE scene. The "NEXT" button just continues playing the timeline.
I've tried selecting all the frames - on all layers - for one scene and "convert to symbol (movie) and using that on one frame but it's not working at all.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
